A hotel employee who recently passed away is said to still be punching in for work. His magnetic punch card was canceled after his death, yet the time clock keeps recording someone punching in with it — always in, never out. A newer front-desk employee, who said they could see spirits, once asked coworkers who was clocking in at the same time every day, and described the person accurately before anyone told them who it was. That employee also said an angry Hawaiian ghost haunts the hotel's electrical room, though no one on staff knows who it might be — the building itself is fairly new, so whoever it is likely predates the hotel.
The Waikiki Parc Hotel is now Halepuna Waikiki by Halekulani, an operating luxury hotel since 2019. The lobby and restaurants are open to visitors.
