The Park City Museum on Main Street occupies the old City Hall and territorial jail, built in 1885, and visitors can step into the jail and its holding pit, known as the dungeon, where local history says at least eleven people died of alcohol poisoning or exposure. Museum staff have shared stories from visitors who say they heard or saw something, and some employees avoid the jail alone or with the lights off. The museum is a stop on Park City ghost tours.
Public museum with admission; check the Park City Museum site for hours and ghost-tour dates.
