Pamplin Historical Park is a 424-acre site with a National Historic Landmark battlefield from the 1865 Union breakthrough at Petersburg, antebellum buildings including Tudor Hall, built in 1812, and four museums. Commonwealth Researchers of the Paranormal run overnight paranormal investigations here, and the park appeared in an episode of Travel Channel's Portals to Hell. The park's own Halloween tours have been dramatized performances, so the hauntings are claims by investigators and not documented sightings.
Open museum and battlefield park with admission; paranormal investigations are scheduled events (not for children under 16), so check pamplinpark.org.
