Manoa Falls Trail, a lush hiking path deep in Manoa Valley, is said to be one of the most haunted trails on O'ahu. Hikers report hearing eerie, banshee-like screaming echo through the valley — believed by some to be the war cry of the huaka'i pō, the Night Marchers, said to traverse the trail as a spectral army. Others say the screams belong to the ghosts of hikers who fell from the surrounding cliffs.
Open daily from early morning to sunset. There is no entrance fee, but parking at the trailhead is paid. The trail is muddy and slippery, so stay on it.
