The Hobo Hill House at 500 East Miller Street is a two-story American Foursquare built in 1910 in Jefferson City's Hobo Hill Historic District. A family who bought it in 2017 and restored it left after about seven months, saying the house was haunted, and it was later offered as a rental for paranormal investigators and curious guests. The house was featured on the Travel Channel and on Ghost Files, in "The Haunting of Hobo Hill House" (2022), with Ryan Bergara and Shane Madej.
Private property operated as an overnight rental; the exterior can be seen from the street, but please respect the neighbors and do not trespass.
