The Great Saltair began as a lakeside resort pavilion on the Great Salt Lake in 1893, was destroyed by fire more than once, and the current Moorish-style concert venue was built in the early 1980s. The venue's manager and staff say that doors open and close and lights switch on and off, and have told of children's laughter and shadow figures. Ghost Adventures investigated the venue, and local news calls it a ghost-hunting hot spot. These are staff accounts.
Working concert venue; entry is for ticketed shows, so check the schedule. Ghost hunts, if offered, are arranged separately.
