Fear Factory occupies the old Portland Cement Works in Salt Lake City, a former industrial plant of several tall buildings and underground passages whose history includes accidents that killed workers, the attraction's own site claims eleven documented deaths. The building has been a seasonal haunted attraction since 2011. Ghost Adventures investigated the site, and Grimm Ghost Tours leads paranormal investigations there outside the haunt season.
Seasonal haunted-house attraction, open in the fall with timed tickets; paranormal investigations are booked separately through ghost-tour operators. Not open to visitors outside those events.
