Concord's Colonial Inn, on Monument Square across from the Revolutionary War town green, has been in operation in some form since the 1700s, and the inn openly tells its ghost story on its own website. Room 24 is the center of it: the first reported sighting was in 1966, when honeymooners named Fellenz said they saw a woman and heard sounds in the room, and later guests have described similar experiences. Part of the building was once the home and medical office of Dr. Minot, and the inn's stories name a former operating room as another place where staff feel a presence. The inn welcomes guests who want to stay in the haunted room.
An operating inn with a restaurant and tavern. Rooms can be booked, including Room 24; check the inn's website for dining hours.
