This Empire bed and breakfast was built in the late 1800s. Staff and guests attribute its activity to Millie Pratt, the original owner's daughter, who is said to have fallen to her death down the home's steep front stairway. She appears only to women, whispering "mother" and, by some accounts, still seen falling or lying at the bottom of the stairs.
