Linden is one of the oldest houses in Natchez, begun in 1785 and expanded by a series of owners, and it has been home to the Conner family for six generations. It is now a bed and breakfast offering tours through the year, and it holds artwork by John James Audubon. Mississippi haunted-places lists include Linden for a phantom horse-drawn carriage and the sound of someone tapping a cane, reported on several occasions.
Operating bed and breakfast with tours of the house throughout the year; call ahead.
