King's Tavern in Natchez is considered the oldest standing building in the city and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Ghost Adventures crew made its first trip to Mississippi to investigate it. The best-known story is of Madeline, said to have been the mistress of the tavern's first owner, Richard King, and to have been murdered there. According to the legend, workers repairing a fireplace in the 1930s found remains behind a wall and a dagger. Staff and guests report images in the tavern's mirrors and the sound of a crying baby.
