The Idle Isle Cafe on Brigham City's Main Street has served as a restaurant since 1921 and is among the oldest operating restaurants in Utah, in a brick building finished in 1892. Staff and diners have told of a woman in 1920s clothing peeking through doorways, a tall man watching staff, murmuring women's voices after closing, clanking pans and people hearing their names called.
