The Historic Hotel Bethlehem on Main Street, opened in 1922, stands on ground that was home to the Moravians' 1700s Crown Inn, and the hotel keeps its own account of its resident spirits. A 2011 Patch article by the hotel's historian lists four: Francis "Daddy" Thomas, a Moravian mail carrier in a tricorn hat and cape seen near the boiler room; Mrs. Brong, an 1833 innkeeper seen barefoot in the Mural Ballroom; the Victorian singer May Yohe, seen and heard in the lobby and lounge; and Mrs. Hops, a caretaker said to have sheltered enslaved people in the basement. Room 932, where guests have reported flashing mirrors and flying papers, is offered as a paranormal room.
Working hotel with a restaurant; the lobby is open to visitors, and overnight stays include the paranormal-themed Room 932.
