The USS Lexington, commissioned in 1943 and nicknamed the Blue Ghost, is a World War II aircraft carrier that has been a museum on Corpus Christi Bay since 1992. Staff and visitors tell of a young sailor in uniform in the boiler room who helps people find their way, and of other presences aboard. The stories are told on ship tours.
