The Walker House in Mineral Point was built in 1836 and is one of the oldest inns in Wisconsin. Food Network named it the spookiest restaurant in the state, and the owners say psychics and investigators have identified twenty-two spirits there. They include William Caffey, a man hanged nearby who is seen looking for his head, a Lady in Black, a little girl in blue who runs in the hallway and a ghost cat sunning in the west windows. The Walker House operates today as a restored bed and breakfast with a restaurant.
