Founded in 1873 as a Methodist Episcopal society in nearby Ireland, Indiana, the congregation moved to its current site at State Road 56 and County Road 350 in 1986 and, in the 2020s, became independent as Shiloh Church of Jasper. No record has been found of a fire at the church, though local telling holds that a past fire killed several people and that the church is haunted by them.
Active Methodist congregation on State Road 56. It is not a tourist site, so contact the church before visiting and avoid services.
