The Sheridan Inn, a National Historic Landmark built in 1893 and once managed by Buffalo Bill Cody, has been restored as an inn with a restaurant. Its ghost is Miss Kate, a longtime caretaker who lived on the third floor until her death in 1968, said to create cold spots and flip lights; her ashes were reportedly placed in her favorite room. Travel Wyoming lists the inn among the state's haunted places.
Working inn and restaurant on Broadway; the public rooms are open, and themed rooms honor Buffalo Bill.
