Poogan's Porch is a Charleston restaurant in a Victorian house on Queen Street that has been serving Lowcountry food since 1976. It is named for Poogan, a stray terrier who greeted guests for years and died in 1979, and local ghost lists name him as one of its spirits. The better-known ghost is Zoe St. Amand, a schoolteacher said to have died there in 1954, whose figure has been seen in a second-floor window by guests of the hotel across the street and by staff.
