The Landmark Inn is a historic hotel on Marquette's waterfront that opened in 1930. The aviator Amelia Earhart is said to have stayed in Room 502 in 1932, and a story persists that her spirit still visits the room. Guests of the room describe flickering lights and odd sounds coming from under the bed. The hotel and its Earhart room are a regular stop on Upper Peninsula haunted-hotel lists, and the room is available to book.
An operating hotel in downtown Marquette; rooms can be booked, including the Earhart room. Check the hotel's site for availability.
