Staff and former employees at Greenfield Village describe unexplained activity in several buildings: footsteps upstairs and a figure at the window of Firestone Farm, linked to Sally Firestone; the smell of pipe smoke at the Daggett Farm in autumn; the sound of stamping horses in the William Ford Barn; and a woman believed to be Katharine Wright at the Wright family home. Former tour guides also say Noah Webster's house has crying, screaming and apparitions, and furniture moved out of place and unseen voices are reported. Greenfield Village in Dearborn is Henry Ford's outdoor history museum, opened in 1933 and filled with historic buildings moved from across the country, including Thomas Edison's laboratory and the Wright brothers' family home.
Open seasonally as part of The Henry Ford, with an admission ticket; check its site for dates, hours and special evening events.
