Built in 1927 in the Spanish style, this hotel sits at the center of Cassadaga, a spiritualist community established in 1894 by the Southern Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp Meeting Association. Its best-known resident spirit is Arthur, an Irish tenor and former opera singer who lived in Room 22 and died there in the 1930s; guests describe smelling his cigars, alcohol, and a trace of body odor, along with flickering lights, cold chills, and his shadow occasionally seen at the foot of the bed. Other reported spirits include Gentleman Jack, a cigar-smoking ladies' man, and two little girls named Sarah and Katlin. The hotel rents rooms and keeps resident psychics available daily.
Operating hotel with a bar, open to guests and visitors. Ghost tours led by local mediums and reading appointments are offered; check the hotel's schedule.
