Bobby Mackey's Music World is a country music bar on Licking Pike in Wilder, run by singer Bobby Mackey since he bought the building in 1978. The building was a roadhouse and nightclub in earlier decades, and Mackey and his staff have long told of apparitions, voices and unexplained sounds on its main floor, upstairs and basement. Mackey himself promotes the haunting, and the bar offers guided ghost tours and paranormal investigations. A popular legend ties the site to the 1896 murder of Pearl Bryan, but nothing in the historical record supports a connection to this building. The venue appears often in books and television programs on the paranormal.
Working country bar that also sells ghost tours and investigations. The bar is typically open Friday and Saturday nights, with separate tour times booked through the venue; check its site, as hours and tour days change by season.
