Pierce, one of Idaho's oldest mining towns, has long had a reputation for its bars and cafes carrying their own ghost stories. The Cedar Inn, formerly the Key Bar, has reported footsteps and a sense of presence; the Timber Inn and the Flame Bar both carry their own accounts of activity. The Clearwater Hotel and bar, once considered the most haunted of the group, is now gone, though locals say the reported activity there has continued at the site.
Pierce is a historic gold-rush town with a few old bars and cafes, including the Pioneer Inn (formerly the Cedar Inn) and the Timber Inn Bar & Grill. Hours are irregular, so call ahead.
