Bradley University's theatre program is housed in the Hartmann Center for the Performing Arts. Longtime students and staff tell of the "Brown Man," a former patron who attended performances for years in a distinctive dark brown suit; since his death, people seated toward the back of the theater have reported seeing his apparition after the curtain rises, watching the show as he once did, accompanied by the smell of cigar smoke and cologne.
