This building in Roberts was a hotel before the catastrophic Teton Dam collapse on June 5, 1976, which killed 11 people and devastated nearby towns including Roberts, Rexburg, and Sugar City — floodwaters left the building abandoned for years before it was purchased and renovated in the 1980s into a Cajun restaurant, bar, and residence for its owners. The owners report ongoing activity, including the appearance of a young girl's spirit and an older gentleman, possibly dressed in a uniform.
Operating Cajun and Creole restaurant, open most evenings but closed Monday and Tuesday. The building was a hotel before the Teton Dam collapse in 1976, which killed 11 people, so please treat that history with respect.
