Built in 1915 as Fort Bragg's first hospital, this redwood building on North Main Street later served the town as a maternity unit before closing to patients and becoming an inn in the 1970s. It stood empty for several years, was bought by a local family in 2025, and reopened after a full restoration as a ten-room boutique hotel, with a grand opening in August 2026. For decades guests and staff have reported both a man and a woman seen around the grounds and looking out of the windows. The woman is sometimes said to be a mother who died in childbirth while the building was a hospital, though no record of a particular death has been found.
Operates as a working bed and breakfast open to overnight guests.
