The Star of India, launched in 1863, is the oldest active sailing ship in the world and the flagship of the San Diego Maritime Museum. Museum staff describe three spirits said to remain aboard: an army captain who died in his cabin, a man found dead under unknown circumstances, and a young man who fell from a loft. Ghost Adventures investigated in 2016, and the museum offers Halloween-season ghost tours.
Open daily with museum admission; Haunted Star Tales runs in October.
