The William Edgar Haymond House in Sutton, a Queen Anne house built in the 1880s or 1890s for a prominent local attorney, is a bed and breakfast and a stop on West Virginia's Paranormal Trail. Owners and investigators report disembodied voices, shadow figures, orbs and apparitions, and psychics point to Haymond's first wife, Emma, who died at 43; students from Glenville State recorded voices on a ghost app. The TV series On the Trail of Hauntings featured it.
Historic house operating as a bed and breakfast with guided tours and ghost hunts by arrangement; call ahead.
