William Henry Harrison Wooster — founder of the Seymour Manufacturing Company, the Seymour Trust, and the Seymour Water Company — built this mansion between 1879 and 1894 for his wife and six children. It later became the Carousel Gardens restaurant, which closed in 2009; the building has since been repurposed for other commercial use. Ed and Lorraine Warren investigated the property in 1990 and concluded it was haunted by the spirit of Wooster's daughter, Helena "Ruth" Wooster, alongside reports of William Wooster himself, the unexplained sound of breaking glass, and a ghost cat with glowing eyes.
The 1890s Wooster mansion now houses a cosmetology school; the restaurant that gave it this name closed in 2009. It is a working business and not open for ghost visits. Look from the street and do not enter without an appointment.
