Once a bed & breakfast at 2 Post Street, Bonnie Castle has since closed its doors to overnight guests but kept its haunted reputation. Staff and guests over the years reported two resident ghosts: a woman named Mary, said to dislike electricity, and a spectral cat seen repeatedly in the same upstairs spot. One visiting child reported seeing a man at the front gate and later identified him, from an old photograph, as the home's original owner. All accounts describe the noises and presences as gentle rather than threatening.
Former bed and breakfast that is now a private residence. It does not take guests or visitors. Please admire the Romanesque exterior from the street only.
